See below for descriptions of the responsibilities for:
MCHS Concession Coordinator Responsibilities 1. Ensure the concession stands (in the athletic stadium and indoors, beside the auditorium) are kept clean at all times. We are subject to unannounced inspections by the Wake County Health Department. 2. Maintain necessary inventory of food items and supplies in both concession stands when there are sporting events taking place at the venues. This requires communicating closely with Team Parent Volunteer Coordinators and doing onsite inventory checks. This also involves placing orders with vendors and shopping at Sam’s Club. 3. Coordinate ordering of food from Domino’s Pizza and/or Chick-fil-A on game days for those sports that sell these items. 4. Communicate any major appliance repair or replacement needs with the Stampede Club officers and general membership. 5. Generally be responsible for keeping the concession stands stocked and in good working order during the necessary athletic seasons. 6. Track the purchase cost of all items and report to the membership when a price adjustment is needed on an item or items. 7. Attend all Stampede Club meetings and be prepared to give a report to the membership if requested.
MCHS Membership Committee Responsibilities 1. Develop methods of increasing the membership to the Stampede Club. 2. Send out a mailing to past years members along with an application to enroll in the current year. 3. Receive applications, assign a membership number, print and distribute membership cards. 4. Submit all monies to the Treasurer for deposit in a timely manner. 5. Attend all Stampede Club meetings and be prepared to
give a report to the membership if requested.
MCHS Scholarship Committee Responsibilities 1. The committee shall meet and select a Chairperson to act as the liaison between the committee and the membership and a Secretary to record any actions taken. 2. All members shall sign a copy of the “Confidential Agreement” prior to looking at any application to be considered for an award. 3. The committee shall review all applications submitted and choose the recipients from the criteria set forth in the “Scholarship Policy.” 4. A selection of equal awards shall be made for male and female applicants. 5. The dollar amount and number of scholarship awards will be determined by a majority of the membership, not the committee. 6. The names of the Scholarship award winners will be given, confidentially, to the President of the Stampede Club, or his designee, by the date specified by the President. 7. All applications, confidential agreement forms and notes will be given to the Stampede Club Secretary in a sealed envelope for filing. 8. Attend all Stampede Club meetings and be prepared
to give a report to the membership if requested. MCHS Team Parent Volunteer Coordinator Responsibilities 1. Solicit volunteer workers to work the concession stand during the home games you are responsible for. 2. Have team arrive early to set up and be ready to sell refreshments as soon as the spectators start arriving. 3. Advise all workers about washing their hands, using gloves and maintaining a clean environment while handling food. Workers should not handle food and money at the same time. 3. Make arrangements with the Treasurer to have the cash boxes delivered or picked up for each event and returned afterwards. 4. Clean up the concession stand area and put away all items in their places after shutting down. Fill all soda refrigerators with soda. Take inventory of supplies and notify the Concession Coordinator of any items that need to be replaced prior to the next sporting event. 5. Secure all doors and windows prior to leaving. 6. Attend all Stampede Club meetings and be prepared
to give a report to the membership if requested.
