The Media Center is the focal point in our instructional program. Maximum use of its resources requires the cooperation of every staff member and student.

Hours:
Monday through Thursday 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Atmosphere:
The media center staff strives to provide an atmosphere conducive to learning. Please be respectful of your fellow students. Keep in mind that school rules apply in the media center including use of electronics, the dress code, and restricting food and beverage consumption to the cafeteria.

Daily Use:
No passes are required during lunch, before or after school. However, during class time students must either be with their teacher or have a signed pass from their teacher to use the media center.

Circulation:
Books and magazines may be checked out for two weeks. Reference books may be checked out overnight only. Students can have three items out at a time. Students may not check out if they have anything overdue or if their fines are $1 or more. Students are responsible for all items checked out in their names.

Fines:
Books and magazines: $.10 per day
Reference books: $1.00 per day
Damage fines may be assessed if necessary, so please take care of the books and magazines.

Computers:
Twenty-six computers are available for student use in the media center. Students must adhere to school system policies regarding computers and internet use. Computer use is monitored, and improper use may result in disciplinary action.

Printing and Photocopies:
Students may print from the computers for $.10 per page. Color printing is no available. There is a copier in the media center and photocopies cost $.10 per page.
