Effective 9/19/2013 UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
Wake County Public Schools no longer authorizes schools to upload any transcripts electronically. Therefore, students using the Common Application and/or SENDedu will still have to request a transcript be sent to those colleges using the revised transcript request policy.
Due to the transition to PowerSchool, please make note of the following:
Do NOT request transcripts through CFNC until further notice.
At this time, transcripts requested will list the GPA and class rank as of the end of the 2012-2013 school year.
Along with the transcript, we will send a copy of the student’s current schedule and a letter explaining the transition to PowerSchool.
Any classes taken over the summer will be listed as well but will not be calculated into the student’s GPA or class rank. If you took a course over the summer, please write “attended summer school” on your transcript request form.
Until further notice, please follow the directions below to request a transcript.
1. Download “Authorization for Release of Records” form - Click here for form
2. Bring the completed form to Student Services/Mrs. Burnette.
3. You will only fill out the “Authorization for Release of Records” ONCE. It will be kept on file in Mrs. Burnette’s office. Each additional transcript will be recorded on that form.
Transcripts for schools outside of North Carolina / Scholarships
***Follow instructions for Option 1 (see above) The first three transcripts are free. Additional transcripts are $5.00
Transcripts for former students/graduates
***Follow instructions 1-4 for Option 1 (see above) . ALL requests are $5.0
