For students who took the ASVAB on September 30, there will be an information session today to explain your testing results at 10:30 am in the auditorium.

The HOBY is the nation's foremost youth leadership development organization. Every spring, more than 9,000 high school SOPHOMORES from across the country are chosen to represent their high schools in the HOBY State leadership Seminar. Interested sophomores should see Mrs. Butler for an application. The deadline is November 22, 2013 by 7:30 am.
All National Honor Society officers need to see Mrs. Henschel and Mrs. Makoczy, after school, Wednesday, November 6 at 2:30 PM in M6.
There will be a SkillsUSA meeting in room 3302 this Wednesday, November 6th at 2:00pm. All students participating in SkillsUSA this year should attend. The Reflections Art Contest is HERE! The theme this year is "Believe, Dream, Inspire". Create an original artwork that reflects the theme in the following categories: Visual arts, Dance Choreography, Photography, Musical Composition, Literature and Film Production. Contact Mr. Matteau in room 310 for entry forms and information. OR, you can access the rules and entry forms for every category on the PTSA website: http://mchs-ptsa.com Prizes are awarded for school winners and up to 12 entries are selected to be moved on the district competition. Last year several MCHS students won district awards and 1 student won a state award! Start working on your entries now because the deadline is Nov. 8. AND it looks great on your college resume!!
Summer Ventures provides an opportunity for students with a strong interest in Math or Science to continue their studies during a rigorous 4-week academic program during the summer of 2014.
