Again this year North Carolina State Education Assistance Authority (NCSEAA), the North Carolina Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NCASFAA), and the State Employee’s Credit Union (SECU) is hosting FAFSA Day on Saturday February 22, 2014. Completing the FAFSA is required in order to determine a family’s eligibility for federal and state financial aid awards to cover higher education expenses. High school seniors and one of their parents should attend a location where financial aid professionals will be available to assist students and families in the FAFSA completion.
Students can register at www.cfnc.org/fafsaday by clicking on a county found on the NC map and completing a short registration form. Most sites are open from 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon, however, students should check on the site for the times and location.
