Dear Parents:
The girls of the MCHS choral department will wear the same dress they wore last year. It is offered through the Southeastern Choir Apparel Catalogue. The dress is a black A-line dress designed for choirs. It is flattering to all body types and skin tones, and is affordable.
We will begin fitting the girls on Wednesday, August 26th. We want to be finished fitting by Friday, August 28th.. The order and hemming process can take up to 10 weeks. We must hurry in order to have everyone outfitted and necessary alterations finished in time for our first concert on Tuesday, October 13th, 2009
Payment is required at the time of placing the dress order. Please send in the dress payment no later than Wednesday, Sept. 2nd. The cost of the dress is $70. This price includes the hemming and shipping of the dress. The hemming is contracted with a local tailor. Either a check, cash, or money order is acceptable. Please make checks out to the MCHS Choral Boosters, Inc. The Choral Boosters will then write one check to the vendor.
We find ourselves in a severe time crunch due to the early date of the concert. Please be prompt with your payment. The dresses need to arrive 10 days before the event in order to have time to have them hemmed. Other necessary alterations are at the expense of the student (We have generally had good luck with the dresses fitting when they arrive). Please remember that these dresses are general sizes and are not custom made for each person. Sizes sometimes vary.
