2009 MCHS Women’s Golf Schedule and Information

Womens golf tryouts will be at Devils Ridge Golf course on August 4 and 5 at 9 am and on August 6 at 5pm. Players must have a current complete physical on file in order to participate. Each player should be dressed in proper golf attire (no short-shorts or tank tops) and must provide their own equipment. Please arrive at 8:30 on the practice putting green on August 4. Practice dates are:
August 4, 5, 6, 10, 11, 12, 13, 17, 20, 24, 26, 27
September 1, 3, 8, 10, 14, 15, 17, 21, 22, 28, 29
October 1, 5, 6, 8, 12
Regional Qualifiers only : October 14, 15, 16
Players are expected to be at all practices. some practices will be range only, some will be on the course. Range only practices will be about 90 minutes and course practices will be 2-3 hours. You will be told a week ahead of time if we are on the course or range. In case of inclement weather, you will be notified via text/email from the coaching mark.

All Conference Matches begin at 3:30, players are to be at the rules meeting at 3:15
Conference Tournament, Regional and State Tournament will be AM starts and will require missed days of school (they will be counted present and are responsible for all make up work in a timely manner)

Coaching Mark web site - must register and include parents information and enable texting. Log in to come later.

Weather can dictate the schedule, communication will come via text/email from the coaching mark.

We use many PRIVATE courses. Behavior is critical for us to be allowed to continue to use these courses for FREE. Be sure to THANK the course personnel and be cooperative with their instructions.
