The photography club will be meeting this afternoon at 2:40 in room 8405. Bring your cameras if you have one.

Juniors please see Ms. Titus in 3204 or Mr. Warren in 3322 to pay your junior obligations. Junior obligations cover your prom ticket for both Junior and Senior year. As an incentive to pay early junior obligations are only $30 if you pay before December 16, 2009. After December 16, 2009 the junior obligation will return to $40. So pay your obligation early and save money!

The Invisible Children's Club will be collecting new and gently used books during all three lunches in the commons from Monday, November 9th through Friday, November 13th. Please help raise money for the impoverished children of Uganda and donate your books.

Attention all Middle Creek High School students!! It is time to audition to be a part of the spring musical! MCHS has a reputation for creating outstanding musicals and we are holding auditions for our 2010 spring musical. Auditions are Thursday, November 12, 2009 from 2:45-5:30pm in the auditorium. You MUST go by the auditorium door to sign up and pick up a packet. All auditionees must have the packet filled out and signed and you must bring that with you to the audition. See Mrs Reaves or Mr Mike Gilliam with any questions. Remember: Musical Auditions are Thursday, November 12th from 2:45-5:30pm.

Senior dues of $30.00 are due to Mrs. Ehinger or Mrs. Hinz in rooms 3314 or 2222 by Dec. 18. Senior dues must be paid to walk at graduation and to attend Sr. events. Please pay them as soon as possible. Checks should be made out to MCHS.

The Music Interest Club (MIC) will meet this Friday from 2:30-3:30 in room 426. Bring your instruments.

To all members of the National Honor Society: Remember, your next mandatory meeting is this coming Tuesday, November 10, at 2:45 in the commons. The meeting should not take longer than 25 minutes. All new members, please bring your $15.00 national dues to pay at the meeting.

This is your last chance. All students, staff and faculty! In honor of those in our military, you are invited to provide a profile of a relative (living or deceased) who has served, or is serving, in the armed forces. On one sheet of paper, provide a scanned or photocopied picture in uniform with a paragraph describing his or service. At the top of the paper, list his or her name, your name, and the relationship. Honor your family and join those already recognized on the wall around the flag in the Commons. Drop these off in Guidance or in Room 314, Mr. Rosser this week.

The Junior College Panel Night has been cancelled. This event has been rescheduled to Tuesday, November 17th during College Application Week. Please see your counselor or our webpage for details.

The Catalyst Conference at UNC Chapel Hill offers students from across North Carolina the opportunity to participate in a weekend-long exploration of social justice issues through various leadership and personal development sessions. Students who are in grades 9-11 are eligible to apply. Applications are available in guidance and must be arrive at UNC-Chapel Hill by November 9, 2009. See your counselor with questions.
